When a sudden job transfer uprooted an Atlanta family of six, our team at Miles and Kirk Design stepped in to deliver a full home transformation in just two months. With the complete trust of our clients and a commitment to understanding their priorities, we turned a house with complicated architectural elements into a harmonious, welcoming sanctuary.

Working alongside skilled craftsmen, we simplified and refined the design, removing overly ornate features left by previous homeowners. The result is a cohesive, modern traditional home that feels both enduring and fresh. From the elegant plaster details to the custom brass shelving, every element was thoughtfully designed to create balance and warmth.

The kitchen took center stage in this renovation, receiving a chef-worthy makeover to suit the homeowner, a former pastry chef. With marble countertops, brass shelving, and a bespoke plaster vent hood, it’s as functional as it is stunning. Hidden throughout the home’s refined beauty are practical touches designed to withstand the demands of daily life—durable finishes that accommodate four small children and a dog, and cozy spaces for family gatherings.
